Memorial Weekend Hike

Join us on Saturday, May 25 (weather permitting) for a two and a half to three-mile hike in Laurel Hill State Park, just around the corner from Hidden Valley.  We will meet at the Foundation at 10am to carpool to the park.  Then we will hike up Water Line Trail, follow the Ridgeline on Martz Trail and come back down on the Pumphouse Trail, stopping at Jones Mill Run Dam to see the lovely waterfall.

Trails are moderate in difficulty, with climbs and descents; we will hike slowly but be back in time for the pool opening party.  Hikers of all ages are welcome.  Trail snacks and water will be provided.  Wear sturdy, closed shoes and bring sunscreen, insect repellent and trekking poles if you like.  Please sign up on the Hidden Valley website so we know how many hikers to expect.
