Golf League Meeting

ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING

HOMEOWNER GOLF LEAGUES 

BEGINNERS ARE WELCOME

We’re holding an organizational meeting on Friday, 26 May, 9AM, at the SRC pavilion (coffee and doughnuts provided).  Our HV golf course general manager, Nick Leghart, will also attend.  Nick is planning Friday afternoon golf outings periodically over the summer that we can all take advantage of.

We have 36 homeowners signed up and will start the league immediately after Memorial Day!  

At the Friday meeting, we will establish the day of the week and tee times for each league.  Given the golf course schedule for Men’s Day (Tuesday), exchange days (Wednesday) and Ladies’ Day (Thursday), I’m proposing our men’s league plays on Monday with a 3PM tee time, Ladies league plays on Thursday with a 10AM tee time, Mixed (2 person teams) plays on Friday with a 3PM tee time and weekend/social golf plays on Saturday with a 3PM tee time.  Each league will play 9 holes.  Negotiated price is $20/player.  Each league will establish their own rules for play and starting or not starting prize funds.

Pool Opening Party

May 27 from 12:00 to 3:00

Help us Kick Off Summer as we open the Swimming Pool with a celebration!  The party will start at Noon and go until 3:00 PM on Saturday May 27 at the South Ridge Center Swimming Pool.  We will have Free Hot Dogs, Chips, Cookies and Beverages during this time period or until food is all gone!  Pool side, live entertainment will also be provided by Flying Blind.  There will be activities for the Kids to do. This is one of our most popular events and a great chance to see your neighbors. No cost for this activity or registration required. See you at the Pool, Rain or Shine!

Craft Beer Exchange

This event is for our beer-loving homeowners!  Bring a case (24-pack) of a craft beer, some food to share, as well as something to drink during the event.  Then we will give everyone as assortment of the beers on hand and you will go home with a variety case of beer.  You never know what others will bring--you may find some new favorites.  Everyone who attends will get a Hidden Valley coozie!
