Family Bingo

Who doesn’t love a rousing game of BINGO?! Play a few games with us on Sunday, June 27 at 4:00 p.m. in the playground area at the South Ridge Center. Of course there will be prizes.

We will also be serving iced tea and lemonade. Please register below by Wednesday, June 23.

Weather permitting, join us to play pickleball at the Highlands Center (Tennis Courts) every Thursday and Sunday through the summer and fall.  

Kidz Klub

Hey gang, introducing our HV Kidz Klub!  Join us every Sunday night (except for July 4) at the South Ridge Playground for a night of fun! Meet other kids from the neighborhood as we play games, do arts & crafts and hang out.  Starting this Sunday after the Family Bingo and every Sunday night from 6:00 - 8:00pm during summer.  We recommend it for kids ages 5 and up.  It's a drop-in Klub, so no need to sign up in advance.  We will provide snacks each week.  Please wear appropriate clothes and sneakers for playing.

Tennis Group

Tennis has been an integral part of the Hidden Valley Community for almost 60 years! We are excited to announce the beginning of a new season starting on April 13th, 2021. Due to the influx of new owners at the resort, the Hidden Valley Tennis Club would like to welcome anyone interested in playing. We also look forward to playing with our returning homeowners and guests as well. All skill levels are encouraged to attend.  We play every Tuesday and Thursday from 9-11 AM. Please feel free to join us. If you have any questions or would like to get a game together, feel free to contact Becky McKinley at 814-279-5797. We are so excited to get back on the courts.

ACC Meeting

ACC Meetings are held at the Foundation Office.  Currently because of COVID restrictions, only Committee Members are able to attend in person.  Special arrangements must be made if anyone would like to in in attendance via teleconference. 

CaddyShack Fun Night - moved to 7/2/21

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN MOVED TO JULY 2ND FROM 5 TO 8 DUE TO TODAY'S INCLEMENT WEATHER. 

Homeowner night at CaddyShack is back! Join your neighbors on the go-carts, splash on the bumper boats, or putt a hole-in-one on the mini-golf course! Join us for 3 hours of unlimited activities for only $20 per person. Or join just for pizza for $5 per person.

The Rec and Social Committee will provide pizza, snacks, and drinks under the tent!

You must sign up for this event and please cancel if you find you won’t be able to attend.

Please make payment in the Foundation Office prior to the event.

Bocce Ball

Bocce, a sport similar to lawn bowling, was first offered at Hidden Valley last summer.  It was so successful, that a second bocce court will soon be added next to our existing court at the South Ridge Center.

No expensive gear is needed for bocce.  All that is needed is a set of bocce balls, which is available for sign-out at the SRC.

A game of bocce can be played with 2, 4, 6, or 8 players.  The rules of the game are easy to learn.  Beginners can enjoy the game after just 10 or 15 minutes of instruction or by watching a game.  There are a variety of strategies in bocce to keep the game interesting and fun.

Poker Run

Hidden Valley’s 11th annual Family Poker Run/Walk/Bike for all ages is on Saturday, July 3, at 11:00 a.m. Participants will meet at the South Ridge Center to receive maps and instructions. From there, you’ll have one hour to travel to each of the designated stations to collect poker cards. The stations will be in various areas surrounding the South Ridge Center. Participants can use any means of travel to make their way from station to station and may travel alone or in groups. Prizes will be awarded to the best hands! The Poker Run is planned to take an hour, but can be modified in length to accommodate younger participants. There is no fee for this event, but reservations are required.

Pizza and drinks will be served to participants following the Poker Run.

As a reminder, all participants are strongly encouraged to wear a helmet when operating bicycles, scooters, etc.

We also need 10-15 volunteers to help with this fun event. Please contact the office if you are willing to help.

Annual Pig Roast - REGISTRATIONS ARE CLOSED

The Annual 4th of July Pig Roast will be held on Saturday July 3rd at the South Ridge Center starting at 6:00 p.m. The menu will be pulled pork, hot dogs, coleslaw, potato salad, baked beans, Mac & cheese, condiments, desert, bottled water and assorted sodas.

Please register below no later than June 26.
