Bocce Ball Tournament

We are pleased to announce that our first ever Community Bocce Tournament will “get rolling” at the South Ridge Center bocce courts on Saturday, July 31, at 10:00 AM., weather permitting.  This event is limited to 32 people.

Bocce is a sport that is rapidly gaining popularity within our community.  The recent completion of our second bocce court has added to our playing capacity, which will enable us to sponsor tournaments periodically.

The tournament will be single elimination, open to 2-person teams.  If you do not have a partner, please register individually, and the tournament organizers will pair you with a partner, if possible.  Children 12 and up are welcome to participate when partnered with an adult.

Prizes will be awarded to each member of the winning and second-place teams.

Soft drinks and bottled water along with snacks will be provided to participants.  Spectators and participants are invited to bring chairs, food, and adult beverages, if desired.

Please register early as the tournament will be limited to 16 teams.

The deadline for registration is Thursday, July 29..  There is no entry fee.
