Unfortunately, it doesn't look as if Friday is going to be a good day for hiking. The current forecast is for a high of 31 degrees and a 40% chance of snow, and while hiking in the snow is one of my favorite things to do, I'm afraid the trails will be icy due to the melt-freeze cycles we're supposed to have this week. So we'll have to cancel this year's hike and try again next year. In the meantime, Happy Thanksgiving!
