2025 Laurel Hill Hike

Memorial Weekend Hike

Join us on Saturday, May 24 (weather permitting) for a two and a half to three-mile hike in Laurel Hill State Park, just around the corner from Hidden Valley.

We will meet at the Foundation at 10:00 to carpool to the park. Then we’ll hike up the Water Line Trail, follow the ridgeline on Martz trail, and come back down on the Pumphouse Trail, stopping at Jones Mill Run Dam to see the lovely waterfall.

Trails are moderate in difficulty, with a fairly steep climb at the beginning and gentler climbs and descents after that; we will hike slowly but should be back in time for the pool opening party. Hikers of all ages are welcome.

Trail snacks will be provided. Wear sturdy, closed shoes and bring a full water bottle, sunscreen, insect repellent, and trekking poles if you like.  Please make sure to sign up!
