HIDDEN VALLEY LEASES THE FORMER PUB AND GRILL TO POLYMATH PARK RESORT FOR NEW DINING ESTABLISHMENT
Just in time for the winter ski season, Hidden Valley has leased the former Pub and Grill Restaurant along Route 31 to Polymath Park Resort, who announced the opening of Falling Leaf Restaurant and the Black Diamond Pub and Grill.
The Black Diamond Pub & Grill opened November 13, 2009, and the Falling Leaf Restaurant will follow with a late November opening. Initially, the Black Diamond Pub & Grill will open at 4 pm Thursdays and Fridays and at noon on Saturdays and Sundays. Falling Leaf Restaurant will be open from 4 - 10 pm Thursdays and Fridays; 11 am - 10 pm Saturdays; and 11 am - 7 pm on Sundays. Brunch will be offered from 11 am - 2 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Hours may be extended during peak ski season.
"This is a natural extension of the food service business that we have developed in nearby Acme with Tree Tops Restaurant at Polymath Park Resort. While Tree Tops offers fine dining and catering, the Falling Leaf Restaurant will provide the same quality cuisine, but with a more casual family-oriented menu. We want to provide local residents, Hidden Valley homeowners and tourists alike an enjoyable dining experience with incredible food at a moderate price," said Polymath President/CEO Thomas Papinchak.
Likewise, the Black Diamond Pub and Grill will offer the over-21 crowd full bar service, entertainment and an eclectic grill menu. Luke Wozniak, Vice President of Beverage Operations, will manage the pub business. The Falling Leaf Restaurant will be under the direction of Executive Chef Mark. F. Henry.
"We are bringing together the expertise of our key staff at Polymath Park Resort to offer three exceptional dining and entertainment options in the Laurel Highlands," Papinchak added. "We are looking forward to an exciting season."
